Smart Wi-Fi is the ideal solution for mobile operators intrigued by the coverage and offload benefits of femtocells, but concerned over the technical, economic, and operational challenges of their deployment.

• No Macro Network Interference. Because it leverages Wi-Fi, Smart Wi-Fi introduces no interference concerns with the macro network – no whitespots, no macro degradation, no handset attachment issues. 
• Local Data Offload. With Smart Wi-Fi, operators can choose to offload all Internet-based services (e.g. YouTube, Facebook,…) directly at the access point rather than having to backhaul and route that traffic through their core network. 
• A Future Proof Radio. With Smart Wi-Fi, the "femtocell" effectively supports GSM, UMTS, HSPA, LTE and even LTE-A, today! There is no need to swap out the "femtocell" every time there is an update to the macro network.
